Bringing skiing to the city

This is how a fun and memorable advertising presentation starts... Food helps!

This  picture is just before my Posterscope presentation to about 25 Media Buyers this morning ... to inspire interest and ideas for Chevrolet (Colorado truck ads and SOS mobile Beacons), MasterCard (think "Priceless" VIP access around resorts!), Emirates Airline (come ski inside in Dubai), and regional McDonald's (with national budgets!)

These should inspire interest and ideas from our team! Example for MasterCard's Priceless is to share the celebrities on the slopes... so I sent THIS picture of slope stars.

Content is King(ston)

Team SUSA - Content sharing is the smartest form of communication to influence clients and prospects. It's 2014 and creating interesting stories about our value and benefits is smart and easy. The goal is to use our site, blog, and social media to show the fun and important side of what we do.

At the end of this post is a great slide show about the convergence of media, Search, and Social.

This is the same plan I was talking about last summer. This is still an opportunity to help the company and give you your own voice (but anonymous is OK).  Contact me about your subjects. I suggest telling stories about what you do that: helps our resort partners, makes a consumer's day better, and fulfills on a brand's agenda. All I need from each of you is the headline, text, and a couple of, royalty-free, pictures. Please feel (very) free to open your creative genius and suggest/create video, Social, and other media. Our site lists all we are using... add stuff anytime.

So... Here are the 3 reasons I am asking you to create content in ANY form ... let's start with your next few blogs this year (or season... or month... depending on how much you want to learn about what works with Media these days):

1)  Relationship building for Advertising Sales -  We will then have relevant content that we can send directly to individual (and many) prospects and clients... This demonstrates that we are listening and care and deserve their consideration. They can also easily share these (informatively written) links with others across their decision and buying process. See the attached email text I just sent to a new contact in my sales process, the senior media buyer at the agency for Nestle Water. See how I use our SOS post link: 

2)  Search Engine and Social optimization - regularly added content gets preference in all media so advertising buyers (and resorts) find us as they investigate similar opportunities. 

3)  Team participation - As we strive to be a modern marketing company, we all need to be involved and show it. Let's be active, aware, and care about communicating what we are proud of.
